I am Sirtaj Dhariwal, my academic and personal pursuits are driven by a strong commitment to business, technology, sports and food.
My upbringing in a dynamic environment as a third culture kid, rooted in an ethnic Indian business family, provided early, extensive exposure to entrepreneurship, which ignited my passion for business.
This foundation led to a focused interest in Business and Technology, encompassing areas from AI development to management. I have translated this interest into tangible results by creating Chatbots through my internship at Uniphore, founding a BUCS organization and taking on a leadership role as the manager of the boys’ varsity volleyball team. I am proficient in Java, JavaScript, Python, HTML and CSS.

Selected as 1 of 30 participants from a pool of 500+ applicants for a two-week residential electrical engineering course at NYU Tandon in 2024. Studied the fundamentals of circuitry, Arduinos, and Arduino programming.

An educational program developed by Stanford alumni that introduces high school students to artificial intelligence through hands-on projects and mentorship. Completed an AI course with the creation of an object detection AI model that is used in self-driving cars

Led multiple groups of up to 10 student volunteers to teach basketball to individuals with Down syndrome and Autism, personally providing one-on-one instruction to over 20 participants.

Provided free and fresh food to Singapore's underprivileged population through a network of 45+ volunteers; led teams to sort excess produce from major grocery stores (Cold Storage, Fairprice, etc.) and distributed it to 300+ needy citizens. Collected, sorted, and prepared clothing and toys for free distribution to over 450+ low-income citizens.

Recorded and analyzed game/practice statistics to optimize team performance, collaborating with coaches on practice plans. Managed team events, assisted in practices and drills, and handled equipment setup, including devices and volleyball gear.

response to crises, such as the recent floods in Punjab that devastated countless villages, claiming
lives and crippling farmland.
